Dream a little Dream House

This has been a really fun day. Steve has been having fun working. The kids are having fun whining about being bored and I have been having fun planning my dream house. Steve doesn’t want to live in Missouri (misery) forever. We’ve been having a lot of conversations lately about his dream of moving back to the “dry cold” of Green Bay. I say dreams are costly little buggers – this dream is probably going to cost him this and this and this and maybe even this.

Actually, I wouldn’t mind living in Green Bay again. It’s a nice town to raise children in with the bonus of lots of family living there. I just dread the winters – I’ve never enjoyed the snow as much as the kids do. Here’s the basic floor plan of the house I’m dreaming of – I’d want to enlarge the dining room and the pass-through between dining & kitchen (for the butler’s pantry), and of course Steve wants a bigger garage.

One thing that wasn’t fun today was grocery shopping at Wal-mart. I really hate that place - especially on a Saturday. What’s with all the people who don’t know shopping ettiquette? My biggest pet peeve is when people block the entire aisle with their cart on one side and them standing peering at items on the other side. Apparently, these type of people are also blind because they can’t see the huge queue of people backed up on either side of them. sigh BTW - the Message Forum has been changed to a general message board rather than focusing on TV talk. Pop over and leave your Christmas ideas (individual and family) so that I can get my shopping out of the way early this year.  And look my comments are turned on! Feel free to leave your 2 cents. Â
