In addition to not posting due to illness, I also haven’t been checking my email or reading my favorite blogs for several days. So I didn’t know that I’d been tagged by Jummy to list 6 strange things about me but she did - tag me that is. I’ve already revealed many quirky/weird things about myself so I thought I’d just list the names of my six children (it’s a joke people!). Anyway, here are 6 more strange things about me…
- Don’t drink out of my glass/can/bottle. If you do, I won’t be able to drink any more from that container. I don’t care if we swap spit on a regular basis - I fear backwash in my drink.
- I can tie a cherry stem into a knot using only my tongue. So far this hasn’t really come in handy in my day-to-day life.
- When I put away my dishes after washing up, I count them all. Then I drive myself crazy wondering where a missing glass or piece of silverware is until I locate it.
- Whenever I am walking with someone I have to be in step with them and will do that little skip step to make it so. Must be the years of Band and Army marching.
- If I smell something horrible I must get someone else to smell it and confirm that it is as disgusting as I thought. “Smell this for me. Please - come on just sniff it. Really - just sniff it and tell me if it smells bad”
- I despise pumping gas. I will drive my car on empty to the point where I am seriously in danger of running out of gas hoping that someone else will fill it up before I have to. Sometimes I will put in 2 or 3 gallons - just enough to get by - so that I don’t have to stand at the pump smelling that gas smell while the tank fills.
