Much drama in and around the Englebert house but none of the fascinatingly, incredible, stunning, awful stories (believe me on this one!!) are mine to share with the internet. Sadness.
Here’s a little brain exercise that’s kind of cool that Chris at Notes from the Trenches shared on her blog. Which way do you see the dancer spinning? At first glimpse, while the page was loading, I thought she was spinning counterclockwise (anti-clockwise?). But when I looked again it was definitely clockwise.
That was kind of disappointing as I’ve always considered myself mostly left-brained. I particularly like being detail-oriented, logical, practical and reality based. I don’t see myself as impetuous or risk-taking at all. But then a miracle occured and the dancing girl changed direction! Yes! She spun counter-clockwise. I was left brained!
A few more minutes of watching and quizzing April, Jon and Violet about what direction she was spinning led to another AMAZING! discovery. I could make her change directions at will! What does that mean? Sometimes I’m left-brained (logical) and sometimes right-brained (emotional)? My husband is probably nodding his head yes at this very moment.
What about you? Which way is she spinning?
