Turkey day is day after tomorrow and I am NOT ready! I did remember to take the frozen turkeys (yes plural) and ham out of the freezer on Monday but they aren’t looking too defrosted at this point. I think it’s going to be water baths again this year.
I have two days of baking, cooking, decorating and cleaning up to look forward to and I’m not really feeling it. The only good thing is that this year all of the kids will be home for the holiday.
Well, minus Eric of course.
I am looking forward to Thursday evening - leftovers (or encores as I have been calling them lately) for everyone! And paper plates. And plastic utensils. And bottled drinks. I wonder if Thursday evening’s meal can be entirely dishes free?
