The Flylady is wrong - picking out your clothes the night before does not make your morning routine go more smoothly.
That’s because no matter what you choose, you won’t want to wear it come morning. On top of hating whatever you’ve laid out, any substitutions you try to make to the day’s wardrobe choice will either be dirty or need ironing.

Your feet can forget how to wear shoes.
For the past 2 years I have not worn shoes for any significant period of time. Mostly I wore no shoes. Or possibly I wore my fuzzy slippers to the mailbox and back. Certainly, I didn’t wear shoes for 9+ hours in a row. Much less shoes that pinch, bind or rub what has turned out to be very tender foot skin.

Brown bag lunches stink just as much as I remember.
Whatever you pack for lunch in the morning will no longer be appealing at lunch time. Regardless of how much you would like to chuck it, you will have to eat it anyway because you can’t just go get something else out of the refrigerator. Well, you can…the break room has a refrigerator in it and there is food in there but I’m thinking my co-workers might not appreciate it if their lunches disappeared.

Having control of the thermostat is something you don’t appreciate until you don’t get to turn the air up and down at will anymore.
My office is cold on days when I forget to bring a sweater or jacket and warm on days when I wear long sleeves. Mostly it’s just cold. In fact, I thought I saw blue toes poking out of my peep toes today it was so cold in there. So, I cut strips of pink and blue packing foam to stuff into my air vent. Problem solved…plus it’s very colorful :-)
